Alexis Newman

I am pas­sion­ate about help­ing peo­ple feel con­fi­dent and thrive while exe­cut­ing their goals. I believe that hav­ing a high emo­tion­al intel­li­gence while work­ing as a team helps bet­ter improve outcomes. 

This pas­sion ini­tial­ly was lived out in a career as a Reg­is­tered Dietit­ian for the past 13 years. I thrived at meet­ing my clients where they were in the process, empathiz­ing with my team­mates bar­ri­ers to suc­cess, col­lab­o­rat­ing with my col­leagues and lead­ing change. All while hav­ing fun and bring­ing joy into the process.

Through this work I real­ized that I loved help­ing my team accom­plish max­i­mal ben­e­fits by imple­ment­ing sys­tems. I came to real­ize that I want­ed to piv­ot my career into Project Man­age­ment so that I have have a big­ger impact. I believe that my skill set that I’ve cul­ti­vat­ed through my 13 years as a dietit­ian will trans­fer beau­ti­ful­ly. I am a strong team play­er, orga­nized, with excel­lent inter­per­son­al, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, influ­enc­ing skills and able present with excellence.

I want to work with cre­ative and dig­i­tal com­pa­nies that make inno­va­tions that help push humankind for­ward to make the world bet­ter than the way we left it. 

I’m excit­ed for my next role as a Project Manager.
