Ivana McConnell

Ivana was born in Sara­je­vo, in the for­mer Yugoslavia, and found her way into UX design via neu­ro­science research, hock­ey ref­er­ee­ing, rock climb­ing instruc­tion, and video game test­ing— she spends a lot of time think­ing about the inter­sec­tions of tech­nol­o­gy and iden­ti­ty. She’s based in Van­cou­ver, and has lived in Croa­t­ia, Toron­to, and Scot­land. She adores her wife and dogs, and is con­stant­ly fail­ing to slow down.
