Dave Prior

Dave Pri­or works for Solu­tion­sIQ where he pro­vides train­ing and con­sult­ing for indi­vid­u­als, teams and orga­ni­za­tions who are tran­si­tion­ing to Agile. Dave has been man­ag­ing IT and Tech­nol­o­gy projects, pro­grams and port­fo­lios since 1995 and has been work­ing with Agile method­olo­gies since 1999. Because of his expe­ri­ence work­ing with tra­di­tion­al project man­age­ment and the chal­lenges he faced in tran­si­tion­ing to Agile, Dav­e’s work has a strong focus on estab­lish­ing a bet­ter bridge between Agile and the tra­di­tion­al project man­age­ment worlds. Dave also has exten­sive expe­ri­ence train­ing Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­o­gy lead­ers and coach­ing orga­ni­za­tions in man­ag­ing projects using both an Agile and a tra­di­tion­al approach. His work as an edu­ca­tor and speak­er has pro­vid­ed him with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to lec­ture and teach class­es in the U.S., Asia, the Mid­dle East, Europe and Cen­tral America. 

Dave is a CST, a PMP and a PMI-ACP. He received his MBA from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas at Dal­las. He lives in Okla­homa and he hates kale.
